Kay Henderson brings a wealth of experience to the International Center. With a bachelor's degree in education, she began her career as an elementary school teacher of third grade and special education students. She has been a professional dancer, co-director of a dance company and a professor of dance at Stephens College, where she taught for more than 25 years and served as coordinator for international students. Kay now devotes her considerable energy not only to assisting students at the International Center, but also to volunteering for the Columbia One Read panel, the MU Concert Series committee and the Missouri Theatre. Kay's world travels include trips to Mexico, the Czech Republic, Spain and Portugal as well as extended sojourns teaching English in both China and Japan.
