Jason Kinnear has a bachelor's degree in history from the University of Missouri–Rolla (now Missouri University of Science and Technology) and a master's degree in educational leadership and policy studies from the University of Northern Colorado. He is currently finishing his doctorate in educational leadership from Colorado State University.
Jason's previous work in the field of international education included positions in international student and scholar services and education abroad at the University of Northern Colorado and Colorado State University. As a student, he studied abroad in London and has since traveled extensively throughout Africa and Europe. Jason is active in NAFSA: Association of International Educators as well as the Forum on Education Abroad.
