International Center staff participate in Mizzou Reads
Several International Center staff members will serve as discussion facilitators for the Fall 2008 Mizzou Reads program. Mizzou Reads offers incoming freshman the opportunity to read a pre-selected book, then participate in related discussions and events once they arrive on campus. This year's pick, Three Cups of Tea, tells the story of mountain climber Greg Mortenson's work building schools in rural Pakistan - work that eventually led to the formation of the Central Asia Institute, a not-for-profit that promotes education in remote regions of Pakistan and Afghanistan.
