Social security letter request
Document Description
A Social Security letter verifies that you are student in good standing and eligible to work on campus. Students need this letter to apply for a social security number.
Note: J-1 Scholars, J-2s, and H-1 workers are not currently required to submit a letter to ISSS nor the Social Security Office in order to apply for a social security number.
