- Establish international partnerships - MU maintains agreements with institutions around the world, covering a variety of activities such as general collaboration, research, faculty exchange, and study abroad. The International Center has primary responsibility for reviewing new agreements and can provide guidance and sample agreements to facilitate the approval process.
- Develop international expertise - Many professional development and funding opportunities, internal and external, are available to faculty members interested in pursuing projects abroad.
- Develop and lead a study abroad program - The Study Abroad team provides assistance and offers workshops on program development and management. Funding for new program development is available annually through the Study Abroad Advisory Council.
- Bring international scholars to your department - ISSS provides guidance regarding hosting a visiting international scholar and hiring international faculty and staff.
- Support for international faculty and staff - ISSS offers information and advising to international scholars at MU and also provides administrative support for employment-based permanent residence (PR) applications for MU faculty and staff.
