The GIA application consists of a 2-page application and an academic advisor’s recommendation form that are both available for download on this website. The application includes questions regarding the applicant’s biographical, academic, and financial information. The applicant may provide additional information as appropriate with regard to any part of the application using an additional sheet of paper.
The Academic Advisor’s Recommendation Form should be submitted by the applicant’s primary major advisor. In the case of undergraduate students this may be the college advisor in the degree program. In the case of graduate students this may be the Director of Graduate Studies or the primary faculty advisor in your academic department.
Both graduate and undergraduate student applicants are required to have (1) one recommendation letter, which must be from the primary academic advisor. Additional letters of support will be accepted, though not required.
All applications must be typed or handwritten in a legible manner. It is the student's responsibility to ensure that his/her application is complete.
DEADLINE: The Grant-In-Aid application forms are due at the International Center no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 30, 2009.
