Please read these instructions carefully. If you have questions about the application requirements or your eligibility for a GIA, contact David Currey, Assistant Director, International Center, N52 Memorial Union (882-6007).
All application materials listed below must be completed correctly and submitted before or on the published application deadline to be considered for acceptance.
The Curators Grant-In-Aid Scholarship Application Packet consists of the following:
- The Application Form
is divided into five (5) parts:
Part I: Applicant Information
Part II: Academic & Enrollment Information
Part III: Financial Information
Part IV: General Information
Part V: Declaration
The student must complete the information on the application form. It is the student's responsibility to return the completed form to the International Center on Friday, October 30, 2009 no later than 5:00 p.m.
The application must be enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to: The GIA Review Committee, International Center, N52 Memorial Union with the following information in the lower, left hand corner of the envelope: the Student's Name; "Undergraduate Student" or "Graduate Student"; and the Student's MU Identification Number.
- The Academic Advisor’s Recommendation Form
should also be submitted by Friday, October 30, 2009. All applicants are required to submit (1) one recommendation from the student's college/department academic advisor or faculty advisor. Additional letters of support will also be accepted, but are not required.
