The Noel P. Gist Seminars, brown-bag lunch meetings named for the distinguished sociologist who founded them, take place weekly during the school year at the University of Missouri. The seminars explore the world beyond the borders of the United States and consider the relations of the United States with other countries and regions of the world. Unless otherwise noted, the seminars meet every Thursday when MU classes are in session, 12-1 p.m. in Room S203 of Memorial Union. Tables are available for participants, who may bring their lunches to the programs.
2011-12 seminar topics are posted each week to the MU Calendar of Events.
