Thank you very much for your support of international education at MU. I like to say that the International Center "facilitates all things international" at Mizzou. Support from alumni and friends helps make this possible and is greatly appreciated.
Your donation has an immediate impact on the services we are able to provide to international students at the University of Missouri, American students who want to pursue educational experiences abroad, and efforts to provide an international atmosphere right here on the University of Missouri campus in Columbia. For example, since lack of funding is the reason cited most often for students not participating in study abroad, your gift can help provide scholarships that allow undergraduate and graduate students take advantage of this life-changing opportunity. Scholarships for current or prospective international students can likewise make a world of difference to a student in need. Finally, your gift could make possible programming efforts such as speakers, films, faculty workshops, etc. that bring an international perspective not only to our campus, but to the entire community.
I would be delighted to speak with you about these and other ways you can support the initiatives sponsored by the International Center. Please don't hesitate to contact me anytime by phone at +1 573 882 6007 or by email at email@example.com.
Sincerely,James K. Scott
