Update - August 22, 2011: This position has been filled.
The International Center seeks a graduate research assistant for 2011-2012 academic year to support its growing communications efforts. We are looking for someone who not only possesses strong technical skills in photography and video, but who can also take initiative in conceiving and producing digital multimedia stories that creatively showcase the center’s work.
This is a .50 FTE (20 hours per week), nine month assistantship with a pay rate determined by the MU Graduate School, subject to evaluation and renewal. Funding from the Graduate Student Support Program covers educational fees, non-Missouri resident fees, and medical insurance.
Alternatively, depending on the applicant’s skills and availability, this position could be divided into two standard, part-time positions of approximately 10 hours/week, without the accompanying fee waivers.
Occasional work on evenings/weekends may be required – primarily to photograph events that take place outside of office hours.
