Aug. 10, 2012

GoMizzou home screen showing international orientationInternational students arriving at MU this semester have a new resource to help them navigate orientation. In partnership with the International Center, the Division of Information Technology's Application Development Network has developed an International Student Orientation module for the GoMizzou mobile application. Available for both iPhones and Android devices, GoMizzou's international orientation module includes:

  • Day-by-day orientation event listings.
  • Google-based campus maps showing orientation event locations.
  • Useful links.

Beyond orientation, the GoMizzou app offers additional core modules that will be useful for international students as they settle in to life at MU: Directory, Maps, News, Events, Campus Dining, Feedback, Courses, STRIPES, Athletics and Special Events.

How to get it

The orientation module will appear in the app Saturday, August 11 and will be available through Thursday, August 16. Interested users need to install the most recent version of GoMizzou to take advantage of the orientation module.
