The number of MU students studying abroad has increased by 36% in the past five years and has more than doubled over the past decade.
MU embraces diversity and encourages all students to seek study abroad opportunities. When traveling outside the United States, a student may face challenges based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, or disability, perhaps encountering discrimination or standing out as a minority in the host country. We hope these resources will help students successfully address diversity issues and have an optimally enriching experience abroad.
