Journey back in history to the 12th century a.d. and immerse yourself in this visually rich culture."

ACADEMICSThe main focus of study for this program is the development of one's conceptual skills in regards to art-making. What does it mean to make art in a city of such rich cultural and historical importance? It is the job of the instructor to address this question and assist the students in finding their own "voice". The expectations of the instructor will vary according to the level of experience and skill of each student. The instructor will provide individual and group demonstrations of various drawing and painting techniques in order to help the students get started. Students will have the option of taking drawing or painting for undergraduate or graduate credits. Course Objectives
