Fran Reynolds, Ed.D., is a native Californian who left the beaches of Southern California for the rivers of Missouri. A life-long teacher, she is passionate about quality education, especially in language arts and psychology. Other passions include her family of three adult children who have blessed her with wonderful spouses and nine brilliant grandchildren, friends, Cocker Spaniels, good conversation, politics and reading (especially historical mysteries). She has degrees from UCLA, California State University at Northridge and the University of Missouri. After a long tenure teaching American history, creative writing and literature at Rock Bridge High School, she came to the Asian Affairs Center in 2003.
