Teach English in Beijing

Beijing International Education Exchange Center is a non-benefit direct subsidiary of Beijing Municipal Education Commission, committed to the international education exchange and cooperation in the Beijing area. The BIEE Foreign Teachers Employment Program is aimed at bringing in excellent foreign teacher resources, and assisting English education in Beijing public schools.

Mid-May to early-June


  • Between the age of 18 and 60
  • No criminal record
  • Native speaker of English
  • Bachelor’s degree or above
  • Two years of English teach experience or TESOL/TEFL certificate
  • Ability to inspire students and foster creative thinking
  • Team player

Job responsibilities

  • Teach oral English to public school students
  • Approximately 20 hours of teaching per week
  • Training and observation opportunities
  • Involvement with development and enrichment of students, including participating in extracurricular activities and regular communication and collaboration with other faculty and staff

Compensation and benefits

  • Monthly salary and housing allowance (19,000 Chinese yuan renminbi, about $2,700 USD)
