International Education Week: Growing Global: Preparing for a Cross-cultural Career

Presented by Tim Nowak, executive director of the World Trade Center St. Louis and 2014 Eisenhower Fellow. 

Nowak is executive director of the World Trade Center St. Louis, the international division of the St. Louis Economic Development Partnership that combines local experts with government resources to enhance international trade as a means for economic growth. He was one of eight individuals to receive a 2014 Eisenhower Fellowship, the purpose of which is "to inspire leaders around the world to challenge themselves, to think beyond their current scope, to engage others, including outside of their current networks, and to leverage their own talents to better the world around them." As a Fellow, Nowak traveled throughout Indonesia and Malaysia to foster trade and business opportunities between St. Louis and its global partners.
