  • UM System international travel insurance - The University of Missouri System has secured services through UnitedHealthcare Global (formerly FrontierMEDEX) and AIG WorldSource for authorized international business travel. Services include 24-hour travel, medical and security-related assistance services (e.g. evacuation and repatriation of remains - NOT medical insurance). There is no cost for these faculty/staff international business travel resources. Please see the UM System website for current faculty/staff/student ID cards and coverage details.
  • Insurance coverage summary snapshot - Guidance on using your UM employee medical and prescription drug benefits while abroad.
  • Travel Connections is an international traveler's health service through MU Health Care that helps medically prepare adults and children for travel abroad. Services include immunizations, travel-related prescriptions and information on environmental conditions including water, food, insect-borne diseases and weather. Note that immunizations required for travel are typically not covered by the university's medical insurance plans.
  • U.S. Department of State international travel information - Includes travel advisories, travel alerts and other country-specific information.
