  • Study abroad scholarship fund. Study abroad is a life-changing experience for students, providing the skills they need to thrive in our increasinglyglobal society. The International Center serves a campus-wide role in developing and managing study abroadprograms that meet the highest standard of academic quality and support for students across all disciplines.Currently, 20 percent of MU students earn academic credit abroad before they graduate. We plan to increase studyabroad participation to 30 percent by 2018.
  • International student fund. International students come to MU from over 100 countries around the world. They not only enrich our campus and community while they are here, but return home with a better understanding of American life and culture. Funds in this area might support international students in financial crisis, or programs and activities that integrate internationals into the campus and community.
  • Area of greatest needUnrestricted gifts allow the center to direct funds to areas where there is the most need.
