Simply have your immigration record transferred from your current school to Mizzou following these steps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Obtain admission to Mizzou through the <a href=\"https:\/\/admissions.missouri.edu\/apply\/international\/\">Office of Admissions<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/gradschool.missouri.edu\/admissions\/eligibility-process\/international-applicants\/\">Graduate School<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Follow your current school&#8217;s SEVIS transfer out process. Provide the <a href=\"https:\/\/international.missouri.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2026\/02\/Transfer-to-Mizzou.pdf\">Transfer to Mizzou form<\/a> along with your Mizzou admissions letter as part of the process.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Discuss your SEVIS transfer date to Mizzou with your current school.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>As of this date, you will be considered a Mizzou student and no longer a student at your current school.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The date must be after the end of a semester at your current school and no more than five months before the beginning of the next semester at Mizzou.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The date must be during the 60-day grace period after the completion date of your program or optional practical training.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your employment authorization will end on your release date. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Submit your most recent I-20\/DS-2019 and the <a href=\"https:\/\/international.missouri.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2026\/02\/Transfer-to-Mizzou.pdf\">Transfer to Mizzou form<\/a> combined into one PDF.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Undergraduate students: Upload to your application status page.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Graduate students: Upload your transfer form to your Graduate School enrollment form, accessed from your <a href=\"https:\/\/applygrad.missouri.edu\/apply\/status\">Application Status page<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On your release date, SEVIS will electronically transfer your record to Mizzou through SEVIS.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you indicated on your transfer form that you are traveling internationally, Mizzou will email your <strong>transfer-pending I-20<\/strong> to your Mizzou email address. You must use your Mizzou I-20 when you re-enter the United States after your transfer release date.
