Hotel
You will stay in hotels in shared rooms with shared baths while you are in Costa Rica.
You should get a business card, brochure and map (if possible) from the hotel before going out. It is important to have the hotel’s contact information in case you get lost or leave something behind. Any charges incurred above and beyond the basic room rate — including, but not limited to, phone calls, damages and any non-complementary services or items — are your responsibility and will not be paid by the program. Overnight guests are not permitted in program-provided housing.
Breakfast will be provided, but you will be responsible for all other meals on your own. It is important to think about your dining preferences when budgeting for your time abroad — where you choose to dine will greatly influence how much you spend on meals.
