Academic calendar

You can find the current academic calendar on the Office of the University Registrar website. Pay attention to the registration deadlines to avoid late registration fees.

myZou access and course registration

You should have received your MU username by email. If you did not receive this, let the Sponsored Student Team know. With this information, you will be able to set up your university account and password.

You will register for courses through myZou. If you would like to browse course options before your arrival:

1. Log into myZou.
2. Select Main Menu, then Self Service from the menu on the left.
3. Select Class Search/Browse Catalog, then select the correct term from the dropdown menu and click Browse Catalog/Search.

You can search all courses offered in each term by field of study. We also encourage you to use the Schedule Planner to begin arranging your course schedule.

You can also review course offerings without logging into myZou. Course descriptions can be found in the MU course catalog.

Advising

We encourage you to contact your academic adviser prior to your arrival to discuss your course selections. If you are not sure who your adviser is, contact your academic department or search for the information in myZou under Self Service > Student Center. Your program adviser information should be listed on the right-hand side of the screen about halfway down the page.
