One main thing they all had in common was the Christmas markets. These markets have a wide variety of food offerings such as German, Polish, French and Swiss food or pastries. Some specific foods they had were German hot dogs and French crepes. Besides the different kinds of European food, there was a lot of beer, liquor and hot chocolate booths. Other booths had American candy, wind chimes, bread, paintings, jewelry, room decorations, etc. In smaller towns like Lancaster, the Christmas market was very small and would only be held in one location. While in cities like London and Manchester, they have multiple locations and have attractions like ice skating rinks and carnival rides. A downside to these markets is how congested they are and whether you will be able to purchase tickets.
