They actually have a 2-week spring break, so my friends and I got to travel around and visit Switzerland and Italy! Our flight to Geneva, Switzerland was $40, and our train ride from Geneva to Italy was $80! It has been an incredible experience to be able to travel at a low cost, and there are always cheap hotels\/Airbnbs as well. Our plane ride back to Spain was $60, and so overall travel we spent less than $200 to see two countries that I&#8217;ve always dreamed of visiting. <\/p>\n\n\n<figure style=\"width: 800px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/52904859762_793ef6e51a_c.jpg\" alt=\"Green and white Geneva museum exterior44\" width=\"800\" height=\"601\"><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Geneva, Switzerland<\/figcaption><\/figure><br>\n<figure style=\"width: 601px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/52905586529_12608ee173_c.jpg\" alt=\"Views along the mellow, turquoise waves along Lake Geneva\" width=\"601\" height=\"800\"><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Lake Geneva, Switzerland<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n<p>In Geneva, we rented a pedal boat for $5 each. We got to be in Lake Geneva and see the top of snowy mountains at the same time. We also did a free walking tour (although we tipped $5 each) to learn more about the history of the city, and we also got to see landmarks around the town at the same time. Geneva was one of my favorite cities that I&#8217;ve ever seen, and after a few days, we traveled to Lake Como in Italy. We stayed at the top of a mountain, and also learned to play a new card game &#8220;Scala Quaranta.&#8221; It was an incredible few days in Italy, and I know I want to go back in the future.
