While staying in San Jose, I ate Japanese, Italian, Mexican, American, and of course, traditional Costa Rican food. Driving through the main roads, signs promoting all types of cuisine whiz overhead. From Korean to South African, there&#8217;s something for everybody. Small vendors sell fruits and breads on every corner, making fresh, delicious food accessible and convenient.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-photo is-provider-flickr wp-block-embed-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/2rSMStN\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/55052386396_1e0b67269d_z.jpg\" alt=\"food\" width=\"480\" height=\"640\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Completely dairy free waffles with &#8220;whipped cream&#8221; and &#8220;ice cream&#8221; toppings.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Living with a severe dairy allergy, I was scared of the possibility of miscommunications in restaurants. Everywhere I went, I was met with complete compassion. Each server took my restrictions very seriously, and I never had a problem. Instead, I got to eat delicious foods each day without worry.
