Prepare for registration and orientation
- All students: Review the orientation schedule.
- Graduate students:
- Register for New Graduate Student Orientation Programs (registration typically opens about one month before the semester starts).
- If you have a teaching assistantship, register for the Graduate Teaching Orientation.
- Undergraduate students:
- Register for Orientation and Advising for the appropriate term. This will include your first appointment with your Mizzou academic adviser.
- Register for the English Language Exam. All new, degree-seeking undergraduate students whose native language is not English are required to take this exam. Be sure to prepare for this exam — your performance will determine if you will be required to enroll in English Language Support Program courses and whether you will receive credit for English coursework taken at previous institutions. This exam cannot be retaken and the results are final.
