You should also review the following information to help prepare for your studies at Mizzou:
- Read the International Student Welcome Guide for information about the MU campus and Columbia community, as well as travel documents, course enrollment, housing and much more.
- Take an online tour of campus.
- Check out Columbia through the Convention and Visitors Bureau website.
- Learn about International Student and Scholar Services’ staff and services.
- Explore campus organizations and events on MU Engage.
- Get a student perspective by contacting an international student ambassador.
- Undergraduate students: Prepare for the English language exam. All incoming international undergraduate students, including transfer students, are required to take this exam upon arrival to campus. The exam will take place during International Student Welcome. Be sure to prepare for this exam — your performance will determine if you will be required to enroll in English Language Support Program courses and whether you will receive credit for English coursework taken at previous institutions. This exam cannot be retaken and the results are final.
