Alyssa Bommarito


Alyssa Bommarito is currently a senior at the University of Missouri, graduating in spring 2024. She is pursuing an agriculture major and will graduate with a minor in Korean studies and a certificate in multicultural studies. After finishing her requirements for the Korean studies minor, she traveled to South Korea for a language-intensive program in Hongdae to expand her Korean capabilities.

Outside of academics, Alyssa is an active member of the sorority Alpha Chi Omega where she has held several leadership positions. She was also involved in Welcome Week 2022 as a welcome week leader helping the new students coming to the university. Alyssa has been an active member in the Asian Affairs Center community volunteering as a language partner and as an American ambassador for the LEAD program. She started working for the Asian Affairs Center in spring 2023.

After graduating, Alyssa plans to pursue a career as a zookeeper and will be completing an externship at the Saint Louis Zoo's herpetarium. She also has a serious case of the travel bug, so she plans to travel to many countries after graduating through either her career or personal endeavors.
