Marcia Burton just completed a 33-year career as a public school teacher in May 2023. Her background is in teaching nearly all subjects in middle school while finishing the last 14 years as a library media specialist. She has her bachelor's and master's degrees from Mizzou and still loves attending football, basketball and volleyball games on campus! She and her husband enjoy canoeing, golfing, attending music concerts and spending time with friends and family. They have three grown children and four grandchildren under the age of seven. Marcia is an avid reader and co-owns a property staging company on the side with her daughter-in-law. Traveling domestically and internationally is one of her passions she hopes to continue to enjoy in the future.
