Document shipping options

International Student and Scholar Services has two options available for mailing your documents:

  1. Send by regular mail. Domestic mail takes approximately one week, and overseas mail may take up to four to six weeks for delivery.
  2. Send by express mail. Delivery in three to five days from the date of mailing, anywhere in the world. This service is available at your own expense, and your credit card will be charged upon requesting the service.

You will receive an email from International Student and Scholar Services when your documents are ready to ship. Please reply to this email, confirm your address and indicate whether you would like it sent by regular or express mail. If no response is received within two days, your documents will be sent by regular mail to the address listed on your application.

Express mail

International Student and Scholar Services uses EShipGlobal, a reliable and secure express mail service for receiving documents from U.S. universities. You will pay the shipping costs with your credit card — the service usually costs between $20 and $60. If you choose to have your documents sent by express mail, you must use EShipGlobal. Do not work directly through any other website.

To have your documents shipped by express mail, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to study.eshipglobal.com.
  2. Select “Student/scholar sign up” and create your account.
  3. Choose “Receive a package from universities”.
  4. Select the state of Missouri from the drop-down menu.
  5. Choose “University of Missouri-Columbia” from the list of schools and select “Continue.”
  6. Choose “International Center” and select “Continue.”
  7. Complete the rest of the information (mailing address and credit card information) to have your documents sent.

Pay close attention to the information submitted, as errors in the credit card information or mailing address will result in a delay in the mailing of your documents.
