Study abroad in Cape Town

Studying abroad in Cape Town, South Africa, has been the best experience of my life. Not only are the mountains and oceans beautiful, but I have been in contact with the most beautiful creatures in their wild habitat. This is definitely a once in a lifetime experience!

monkey at World of Birds sanctuary
In the World of Birds Sanctuary, there is a small window of time you are able to spend with the monkeys — during feeding time. The workers put food wherever they want — and the monkeys have free range.
Boulders Beach in Simon's Town
In Simon’s Town, just near Boulders Beach, these penguins swim freely and practically own the beach. There were hundreds of these guys just sitting around in the sun — curious to see what us humans were all about.
Kruger National Park
Kruger National Park is South Africa’s first national park, covering 7,523 square miles. The park is home to the big five — lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants and buffalo — in addition to hundreds of other mammals. This is a place where you get up close and personal with some of the largest mammals, but be careful because these are wild animals. Staying in the vehicle at all times is a must.
