My top five food places in Amsterdam

1. Winkel 43

The best Dutch apple pie in Amsterdam. And probably the world. Make sure you get a slice with whipped cream (slagroom)!

2. The Brunchroom

Great place for brunch (duh) with a creative menu and unique dishes to choose from. The owner, Steven, is the sweetest person and you can really tell he loves what he does and makes your experience a priority. Make sure you try the vegan waffle!

3. Peejay’s Donuts

The cutest donut shop with yummy flavors. My favorite one out of all that I tried is probably the blackberry cheesecake. Go get a donut, take a seat at the window and people-watch!

4. IJscuypje

My go-to gelato shop. I definitely went more than I should have. I try to be dairy-free, but you have to make sacrifices for the ones you love.

5. Van Stapele Koekmakerij

They do one thing and one thing only: cookies. Only one kind, but it’s famous, warm and worth the potentially very long line.

My one true love.
