Norway Constitution Day

On May 17, Norway celebrates its Constitution Day. The day is filled with a festival and gatherings of everyone in traditional clothing. My friends and I had a picnic by a lake in Bergen, and then went to the city center. There were large crowds of Norwegians wearing their traditional clothing and enjoying the festivities. This day felt a lot like the U.S.’s Fourth of July in some ways and especially in the fact that Norway’s flag is also red, white and blue.
