Travel time

During the first couple weeks of May, I decided to travel to a few different countries in Europe. I have no more classes, and just free time to study for exams and do as I please, so I took some time to relax my mind. During the first week I went to Brussels, Belgium. During the second week of May I went to Scotland and during that same weekend into the third week of May I went to Amsterdam, Netherlands.

I would say that my favorite place was Brussels, Belgium. I absolutely was in awe when I got to Belgium because the architecture was beautiful. The spoken languages in Belgium are mainly Dutch and French, but most people also speak English if necessary. I found it really awesome to hear people speak in Dutch and French, rather than being scared of not knowing the language.

The most amazing Belgian Waffle I have had (Legian Belgian waffle with Biscoff cookie crumbs, caramel sauce, with vanilla and cookie ice cream).

Another amazing thing about Belgium were their famous Legian Belgian Waffles. You could find a waffle store on every block and it smelled absolutely amazing. Belgium is also known for their Belgian chocolate and beer.

I am so grateful that I got to go on these trips and I am now in exam preparation mode. I have finished two exams and still have three more exams spread out through the next three weeks. I look forward to my trip to Italy as a reward for finishing my semester abroad.
