Festivals in South Korea

In May, I did some cool things in Korea. My school has its festival from May 21–23. The school clubs created their own restaurants for students to eat at. There were food trucks and vendors too. There was also a free concert. I had my first and second Korean concert in the span of two days. It was a lot of fun going to the festival with my friends.

This is what the venders looked like while I was walking to class. It became more packed with people later in the day.

This picture was taken while I was walking around the restaurants from the clubs.

The first festival was at my own school at Kyungpook National University. I ate at a club restaurant outside and chicken from a food truck. The best part was the free concert. With my friend from Spain, I saw a famous Korean artist named Jannabi. The quality is a little bad because I was far away but the music was a blast.

The best day was visiting a neighboring school an hour away to see PSY at an outside venue at Yeungnam University. It was worth the hour ride to see him. I never thought I would see the guy who sang Gangnam Style live in my lifetime but I did! It was great to dance with the Korean people to the music. Also, PSY is a great dancer. Him and his backup dancers are really good! I’m still having a good time in South Korea so far.
