May in South Korea

As I near the end of my study abroad in South Korea, I am fortunate enough to spend my 22nd birthday with new friends this year! We went to a really cute cafe that had delicious cheesecake, and I had a great time spending the day with two of my closest friends in Korea. And in fact, two weeks after my birthday, it was the birthday of one of my friends, so we also ended up going to a cafe and eating cake to celebrate her birthday as well!
I also went traveling to Gyeongju this month, and got to see a lot of really cool historical sights, such as the Cheomseongdae Observatory! The weather was beautiful, and so was the food, and my friend and I even ended up getting our caricatures done. What I really love about Korea is how walkable everything is, as well as how smoothly the transportation works. We took a four hour bus ride to Gyeongju from Seoul, and then took buses here and there to get to where we needed. I definitely recommend going to Gyeongju if anyone ever decides to visit Korea!
