When coming to Germany, I did not expect to encounter as many churches as I did. When spending our first day in Frankfurt, my roomate and I visited at least two churches and we both noticed that they were Catholic.

Many of the churches had similar architect featuring big archways and redish orange stone holding them up.

The highlight of my trip in Germany was being able to see the Cologne Cathedral. It was overhwlemingly large and you had to bend your neck all the way back to see the very top of the church. It was the most beautiful piece of art I have ever seen in my life.

The inside of the church was overhwlemingly large with multiple sections for mass and prayer. All the churches also were still decorated for Christmas and had prayer candles I was able to light with a small donation.
