I cannot believe this is my last study abroad blog post! To say these last five months FLEW by is an understatement. I have been back in the U.S. for a week now, so I am going to write about the thing I miss most from Alicante and studying abroad. My host mom! She was truly the most special part of this entire experience. I learned so much from her, and not just Spanish. We would talk for hours over dinner, and with each conversation, she taught me something valuable. I will be forever grateful for her, and I miss her so much already!!! I am lucky we can still text every day.

If you get the opportunity to study abroad, I highly recommend living with a host family. They teach you so much and provide culture that you just can’t get anywhere else. Plus, you get a new lifelong friend!
