Well, everybody, my time here in the U.K. has officially come to an end. There aren’t enough words, pictures or souvenirs to express how much I am going to miss this place and the experience I have learned along the way. I have been trying to figure out if there were any British phrases I planned to bring back with me, and I have decided on two. Rocket (arugula), because it just sounds way cooler in my opinion. I mean what vegetable sounds as cool as rocket? Also, queue (line) because I think it just sounds so much more mature to tell someone they cut the queue and not the line.

I was beyond grateful to have made so many friends abroad and made connections to last a lifetime. I was also grateful to end this journey by having my mom come visit me in the place I have been able to call home for six months. This was an opportunity that I will remember for years to come and I am so excited that I have been able to share this journey with you every month.
