The Peace Palace in The Hague was a beautiful, meaningful structure. I learned so much about the importance of diplomacy and cooperation. Peace does not come easily, but rather, it takes a lot of communication, negotiation and respect for everyone involved to ensure international agreements. I was given the opportunity to learn about the relationships between countries not only by word of mouth, but also visibly through the many architectures and gifts given by many different places to make up the beauty of Peace Palace.
