During my internship abroad in Milan, I had the opportunity to work at Zerobriciole, a luxury catering and events company, where I contributed to an event during Men’s Fashion Week for RRD, a sailing and performance apparel brand. In the weeks leading up to the event, I collaborated with the design team to develop the tablescape, layout and overall aesthetic, gaining insight into the creative process behind luxury event production. I was especially fascinated by how every detail from the decor to the menu was intentionally crafted to reflect the brand’s identity and vision.

On the day of the event, I helped set up the tablescape, plate and garnish dishes and ensure every detail was executed flawlessly before guests arrived. Seeing the event come together after weeks of planning was incredibly rewarding and gave me a new appreciation for the level of creativity and precision required behind the scenes. This experience was completely outside of anything I had envisioned for myself. I never expected to enjoy working in the luxury catering and events industry, but this internship introduced me to a side of experiential marketing and event production that I found incredibly exciting. It broadened my perspective on the many ways brands create memorable experiences and reinforced my passion for bringing creative ideas to life.
