Kate joined Mizzou Study Abroad in August 2022. Prior to coming in Mizzou, she taught English for four years at a high school in Tokyo, Japan, through the JET Program. She holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations and French from The Pennsylvania State University. While completing her degree, she spent a semester studying in Rabat, Morocco. Outside of work, Kate enjoys getting out in nature (not camping though), watching trash TV like “Love Island” and trying to control her puppy, Mochi. Kate believes fervently in the impact that cross-cultural interactions can have on students’ lives and society as a whole.
