Study abroad adviser
Lorinn has a bachelor’s degree in linguistics and romance languages with an emphasis in French, plus minors in English and Italian studies, from the University of Missouri. In 2024, she went abroad for the first time on a faculty-led program in Paris and Antibes, France, where she stayed with a host family for five weeks, learning French and experiencing the culture on the Riviera. The following year, she participated in an Italian study abroad program, touring Sicily for two weeks, then attending an intensive Italian language school in Taormina while completing an internship at a migration center for minors in Giardini-Naxos. Just after graduating in May 2026, she returned as the teaching assistant on the same program in Sicily. With a passion for foreign languages and immersive cultural experiences, she is excited to guide and inspire Mizzou students preparing for their own study abroad journeys.
