Yvonne has a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Wales-Swansea in the United Kingdom. After graduation, she trained as an accountant, working in practices in London and Dublin. After moving to the United States, Yvonne worked in Columbia with a large manufacturing company headquartered in France before joining the University of Missouri in 2016. Yvonne grew up in England and regularly travels "home" to visit family. She has traveled extensively in Europe, North America and Asia. Her recent travel includes visiting Peru to develop a new service-learning program and leading a study abroad program to Thailand.
