Each semester, hundreds of new international students arrive at MU. They participate in International Student Welcome the week before classes begin to learn all about life at Mizzou and in Columbia.

Volunteers are needed to help run the events during International Student Welcome. They help serve meals, lead small group sessions and assist with the shopping trip. Everyone is welcome to help out — U.S. and international students, MU faculty and staff, and community members. Just bring yourself and a friendly attitude. If you are interested in volunteering for the upcoming semester’s International Student Welcome, use the button below to submit a volunteer application. If you have volunteered in the past, you may also consider applying to be a volunteer coordinator.
