About

MU International Center

The International Center is centrally located in Memorial Union on the University of Missouri campus in Columbia, Missouri.

Our staff coordinates, supports and promotes the internationalization of the MU campus. We raise international awareness, foster an appreciation for diversity, and help students understand their roles and responsibilities as world citizens. We create a supportive and collaborative environment that fosters mutual respect and understanding, and we provide professional and responsive service to MU students, scholars, faculty and staff.

Our goal is to not only strengthen and bridge international resources across the MU campus but also to engage the local and regional community in international education.

Come to MU

The International Center brings the world to mid-Missouri. We provide support services to international students and scholars who come to MU, and we help the departments that host them.

Study outside the U.S.

The International Center takes MU around the world. Our study abroad staff develops and administers quality education-abroad programs that help students gain appreciation and understanding of other nations and cultures and provides students with skills needed to succeed in the global economy.

Get involved

The International Center strives to foster international connections on our campus and in our community.  Students, scholars and families from around the world come to Mizzou to experience American education and culture firsthand and to share their own cultures. A variety of workshops, events, volunteer opportunities and outreach programs provide countless opportunities to get involved with our global campus.
