International Student and Scholar Services is implementing changes to the J-1, H-1B and TN petition processing fees effective July 1, 2024.

The fee schedule for all international scholars was last revised in 2015/2016 and comprised eight categories. This update simplifies the fee schedule to three categories, making it easier for departments to estimate their financial obligation. Additionally, this update is necessary to ensure we maintain reporting compliance with the federal government and can continue providing the necessary support to both scholars and requesting departments.

Updated fee schedule

• J-1 scholar, on campus: $300
• J-1 scholar, off campus: $600
• H-1B/TN petition: $1,500
