Walk-in advising

For short (15 minutes or less) questions, no appointment necessary. Sign-up for walk-in advising ends 15 minutes prior to the end of the session.

Scheduled appointments

For questions requiring more than 15 minutes, international students and scholars should email their assigned adviser to schedule an appointment.

Study abroad (outside the U.S.)

  • To learn the basics about study abroad: Before scheduling an meeting with an adviser, students should attend Study Abroad 101, held every weekday while regular classes are in session. Sign-up not required.
  • For initial questions: Come to the International Center's resource room any day from 8 a.m.–5 p.m. to speak with the study abroad assistant or a peer adviser.
  • To meet with a study abroad adviser or coordinator: Once you've narrowed down your program options, schedule an appointment through MU Connect or come in during walk-in advising hours.
