Radio host Paul Pepper interviewed Debbie Parker, coordinator of the Conversation Partner Program, and IEP student Sara Huaco on his show “Radio Friends with Paul Pepper” on Monday, Feb. 12. Debbie discussed the many benefits the Conversation Partner Program offers participants. Sara explained methods for improving her English and some differences between visiting friends and choosing foods in Peru and the United States. The Conversation Partner Program matches American students at MU with IEP/ELSP students. It allows American and international students to learn more about each other’s cultures and improve their language skills.
