COVID-19: Messages to MU students and scholars from South Korea

Dear international students and scholars,

We’re reaching out to let you know we share your concerns for family, friends and colleagues in South Korea as the COVID-19 virus continues to spread beyond China. Fortunately, at MU and in Missouri, there are no confirmed cases of the coronavirus at this time. However, we understand that some you may have family and friends living in affected areas and this is cause for concern.

Therefore, we want to remind you that if you need help, know that we’re here to support you. Please reach out to us! There are many resources across campus that can possibly help alleviate the anxiety or stress that you may be feeling. Take a few minutes to consider the following resources available to you and contact them if you need help:

For those of you that may need guidance regarding your F-1, J-1 or H-1B status due to changes in travel plans, ISSS advisers are ready to assist you.
