This evening, the CDC and Department of State both issued travel warnings for Italy (CDC travel warning level three; Department of State travel advisory level three). In accordance with the MU student international travel policy, university-sponsored student travel to Italy is currently prohibited. We have canceled study abroad programs in Italy for spring, spring break and summer 2020.

We have notified the MU students currently studying abroad in Italy and and will work with them individually to find the option that best meets their needs.
