The International Center has an exciting opportunity for faculty interested in developing a relationship with our prestigious partner Ghent University in Belgium. As part of the Erasmus+ European Union program to promote comprehensive internationalization, Ghent is offering funding for one MU faculty member to job shadow, train or plan collaborations with faculty peers at Ghent. Funding will cover travel, accommodations and meals for five days this spring or summer 2019.

To be considered for funding, please submit the following materials by Monday, April 15, to Dr. Mary Stegmaier (stegmaierm@missouri.edu), interim vice provost for International Programs and interim director of the International Center.

• Current C.V.
• Letter of recommendation from your department chair
• Paragraph answering each of the following prompts:
  • Describe your current relationship with Ghent University or the type of relationship you would like to develop with Ghent faculty.
  • Briefly describe how you would use the funding to further the institutional partnership between MU and Ghent University.
